Nuestro molino de viento tiene una antigüedad de casi 100 años, extrayendo agua y solamente accionado por viento.
El agua que extrae, a veinte metros de profundidad y a 8ª C constantes durante todo el año, es usada para los animales y para el riego de las plantas.

La laguna cuenta con una superficie de ochenta metros de largo por treinta metros de ancho aproximadamente.
Posee agua de vertiente, manteniendo un nivel casi todo el año.En distintas oportunidades ha sido visitada por el club de observadores de aves de San Andrés de Giles.

The artificial lagon is 80 Mts long and 30 Mts wide approximately. It has spring water keeping a constant level all over the year.

En las proximidades de la laguna contamos con un área protegida de vegetación y fauna autóctona. Se puede recorrer a través de un sendero caminando o a caballo. Se pueden observar una gran cantidad de vegetación nativa y distintas aves silvestres como patos, teros, biguá, etc.
También hay un gran número de nutrias y cuises.

Nearby the artificial lagoon we have a protected flora y fauna area.
